Christmas

We had a great Christmas with all of my family here. The girls were showered with gifts from Santa and family. I wasn't very faithful with the camera, unfortunately, my hands constantly occupied with baby and all!

Snow Day!

Noemi and Cielo finally got a chance to go playing in the snow. They attacked each other with snowballs, made angels and Noemi made her first snowman by herself. Even grandma had fun in the snow!

Alena had a "christmas concert" today. She was very excited that Grandma and her uncles were able to attend.

The baby boy finally arrived!! After NEVER settling into a consistent contraction pattern (they were coming every 1.5 to 8 minutes right up to the end!) He finally decided to make his descent anyway. He decided it was up to him to show me what labor really means. After having my tiny girls literally pulled out of me, no pushing effort involved, I had to push for half an hour to get this kid's huge noggin' out! He was a sturdy 8 lbs 10 oz and 20.5 inches long. His weight everytime I picked him up was so surprising! But he's healthy and robust :) And so far, the easiest newborn. I remember thinking with the girls, "Why aren't you working like you're supposed to??!?!" Well, Tenorio "works" like a charm :) His only fuss has been diaper changes, but he's learning to appreciate them more now. Oh and yes, the diaper change sprays...we've 'enjoyed' a few of those adventures too! Cielo calls him "baby brother". "Where's baby brother?" "Can I see baby brother?" We all mostly call him Rio. :)

New Pup

Zorro and Teacup found new homes, after a year it was finally time for them to venture forth and find joy with new loving families that probably aren't going to be constantly on their backs to behave like we are!!
And in comes the newbie...this is Suki, she's a pomeranian/chihuahua mix and 5 months old. So far she's been a lot of fun and really easy! The is the first time I've only had ONE dog for over a year and it has been sooooo nice.

We had one of Zorro and Teacup's puppies over to play. She has grown and changed a lot! She looks just like mama and papa though!
