Well the run of holidays begins! Alena got to be Cinderella, and Emi REFUSED to put on any costumes we had! So we had to trick her into a costume...she wore all blue and we painted some blue on her face to be a blueberry. I guess you could call her Violet from Willy Wonka too!
We started the halloween festivities by going to Pumpkinland. We ran through trails of pumpkins and got turned around in a corn maze. The girls had lots of fun running around. THere was lots of playground equipment and animals to look at. When we were done they picked out their own pumpkins and we went home to carve them. The girls scooped out their own punpkins and then made requests for the faces. And then Alena insisted on being able to paint hers so she did!
We went to a trunk-or-treat for the ward, which is the best form of trick or treating- It was SO cold!! So we got home, the girls downed some sweets, and now we are patiently suffering through their insane sugar high!! That's what Halloween's all about!! Halloween Pics
